Twilight Movie Fashion Guide

When Stephanie Meyer's fame for Twilight series hit the Philippines, I can say that I am one of the book lovers who got hooked with the series. Although I am not so happy with how the saga ended, I was still excited about the much-anticipated Twilight movie.

But before Bella Swan (Kristen Stewart) and Edward Cullen (Robert Pattinson) hit the big screen, let's take a look at the movie's fashion guide. Basing on the descriptions from the novel and considering the budget for the film, the movie's costume designer, Wendy Chuck made a lot of effort to dress the characters with a right look for the film. According to her, the characters' outfits were from Loehmann's, Nordstrom Rack, Internet outlets and local Portland shops

Robert Pattinson as Edward Cullen
His style is formed by a mix of American Apparel T-shirts, jackets from G-Star, H&M shirts, Chimala jeans, and A-life sneakers or vintage boots. According to Chuck, the only high-end item in the film was Edward's Gucci jacket for the prom.

Kristen Stewart as Bella Swan
Her wardrobe progresses to cooler blues and gray blues and some romantic elements like the floral embroidery on her shirts.

Ashley Greene as Alice Cullen and Jackson Rathbone as Jasper Cullen
Alice is the kooky, artistic one in the book so her wardrobe is mostly inspired by vintage. For Jasper, Chuck used a lot from G-Star, Levi's and Western boots.

Nikki Reed as Rosalie Cullen and Kellan Lutz as Emmett Cullen
Defined by their intimidating gracefulness and beauty, Rosalie (in a Guess jacket with Miss Sixty jeans) and Emmett display a polished look. Instead of going for the stereotypical goth looks for the vampires, Chuck moved towards cool blue and gray tones to convey death and iciness.

Edi Gathegi as Laurent and Rachelle Lefevre as Victoria
The influence for their outfits was rock and roll, bad-ass vampires.

Cam Gigandet as James
Chuck found a way to portray the nomads evil side through their wardrobe. For James, his clothes were taken from his victims.
