 Christina Milian Talks About The End Of Her Marriage

Actress and singer Christina Milian is finally speaking out about her very short, tumultuous marriage to Terius “The Dream” Nash. Christina Milian and The Dream were married in September of 2009 and separated that same year, with The Dream filing for divorce just days before Christina gave birth to their daughter Violet. They tried to reconcile, but then photos hit the internet of The Dream frolicking on the beach with his assistant.
Christina Milian shares:

“I’ve been to hell and back, but I survived.”

“I tried to be someone I wasn’t because I wanted my marriage to work,” she tells the mag. “But ultimately, if it’s not working, it’s not working.”

She says of the cheating:

“I didn’t know anything. But looking back, my gut was telling me something was off. But I thought I could fix it.”

Despite going through the rocky times, she is feeling better than ever and ready to move forward:

“I feel brand new. I’m ready for the next phase of my life.”

Good for her for having a new lease on life – what a great way to start out the new year!

The split up shortly after getting married, and now Christina Milian and Terius Nash (aka The Dream) have come to an agreement on their divorce.

And according to a report, both parties are choosing to settle things without going to court and airing their dirty laundry for all to see.


Miss Milian’s attorney told TMZ, “Ms. Milian strongly believes that peaceful resolution is better for their child and she is very pleased with the settlement and that it was accomplished out of court.”

Of course, the terms of their divorce are being kept confidential, with the paperwork to be filed with a Georgia court in the weeks to come.

The-Dream Speaks on The-Breakup with Christina Milian, Misleading Fans, Trying to Kill Himself

The-Dream and Christina Milian ended The-Marriage earlier this week ... officially. In truth, it was over a long time ago (even though it began in September).

In an open letter on his website, he finally acknowledges as much, claiming he tried to commit suicide when he realized his marriage with the singer was over.

"I’ve cried about this for months, after interviews, after prayer and I’ve tried to take my own life at a point because of the failure that was looming," he wrote.

Nowhere does he mention creepin' on random hoes.

Did The-Dream really try to commit suicide?

Not sure if he's serious about the whole suicide thing, but that's pretty scary if so. Get help, Dream. Hope is not lost. This doesn't have to be The-End.

In his letter, The-Dream also apologizes to fans for "misleading everyone" into believing his marriage was fine for the past few months ... when in reality he was, "simply scared and embarrassed to let everyone know we were failing."

But, he writes: "This too shall pass! And everything will be fine!"
