Another Day Of Filming For Sarah Jessica Parker

Another Day Of Filming For Sarah Jessica Parker

My best friend works at Credit Suisse on Madison Ave. in Manhattan and she emails me on a regular basis letting me know that Sarah Jessica Parker and Hugh Grant are busy filming right outside her building.

I almost hopped on the train to meet her for lunch just to snag a few shots, but knew we would get them through the paparazzi agencies anyway.

Here’s SJP wearing a black suit and carrying an eco-shopping bag in between takes for ‘I Don’t Know How She Does It‘. Click on the thumbnails below to see Olivia Munn in action.

Sarah Jessica Parker “Could Die” When Work Removes Her From Her Kids

Sarah Jessica Parker “Could Die” When Work Removes Her From Her Kids

Sarah Jessica Parker “could die” at the thought of being away from her children. The actress has a VERY busy year ahead of her filming ‘I Don’t Know How She Does It’ and isn’t looking forward to being apart from James Wilkie, eight, and 17-month-old twin daughters Loretta and Tabitha.
Even now I think about the separation and it makes my stomach hurt. I think about my son waking up on his birthday without me there, and I could die.”

Sarah Jessica Parker also opened up about meeting the twins for the first time. She told Elle Magazine:
“Everything was suspended. I can’t even tell you what other sounds were in the room. I loved them immediately, but everything – their size, the shape of their heads, the color of their hair, their noses, their eyes – was new to me. They looked surprisingly different from James Wilkie, which I wasn’t expecting.”

Sarah Jessica Parker On The Cover Of January’s ELLE Magazine

Sarah Jessica Parker On The Cover Of January’s ELLE Magazine

Sarah Jessica Parker graces the cover of ELLE magazine’s January issue. In it she dishes on aging, accepting her position at Halston, and meeting her babies for the first time.
On aging naturally:
“I don’t know what I can do about the aging. Yes, I am aging. Oh my God, I’m aging all the time. It’s like those flowers that wilt in front of you in time-lapse films. But what can I possibly do? Look like a lunatic?”

On meeting her twin daughters after their birth:
“[Meeting them] is hard to describe. Everything is suspended. I can’t even tell you what other sounds were in the room. I loved them immediately, but everything—their size, the shape of their heads, the color of their hair, their noses, their eyes—was new to me. They looked surprisingly different from James Wilkie, which I wasn’t expecting.”
Sarah shares her reaction to being offered the position of President and Chief Creative Officer at Halston and Halston Heritage:
“I kept saying, ‘You understand, by offering this you are going to be criticized?’ It took me a long time to say yes.”
She takes the role very seriously and made sure they understood that:
“I said, ‘Please know this now: I will never do this for a title. I will never dip in and out of this. I’ll do it like everything else I’ve ever done. I’ll be involved down to the splitting of the atom.’”
On her daughter Tabitha’s style:
“She’s crazy for bows; she wants her head covered in them.”
For the rest of Sarah Jessica’s interview, you can pick up ELLE’s January issue on December 15th.
She looks stunning in green, doesn’t she? Well, she looks stunning in ANY color.

Sarah Jessica Parker Buys New NYC Home

Sarah Jessica Parker Buys New NYC Home

Heidi Klum isn’t the only celebrity making huge real estate purchases these days! Sarah Jessica Parker and Matthew Broderick are rumored to have dropped a cool $21 million dollars on a new NYC townhouse.

I feel like I’m going to miss the old one :) We see her doing the school run or leaving from there so often, it’s practically a part of my day to day life!

Here are some details on the new digs.
According to The New York Observer newspaper, the new home – the former residence of philanthropist Laurie Tisch – features a 32-foot long living room, eight bedrooms, five bathrooms and five “half” bathrooms.
In addition, there are two walk-in wardrobes in the master bedroom of the property, which has seen its price drop by $3.5 million since August.
The location is in Central Park West. Sounds like a New Yorker’s dream home.

Sarah Jessica Parker: Bambi Awards Beauty

Sarah Jessica Parker: Bambi Awards Beauty

Always up for a swanky evening out, Sarah Jessica Parker attended the 2010 Bambi Awards in Potsdam, Germany on Thursday (November 11).

The “Sex and the City” babe looked oh-so-stylish in a fabulous lavender dress and giant heels as she posed for pictures in front of a luxurious Mercedes ahead of the event.

In other news, it is being reported that SJP wept when she found out her designer line colleague, Bonnie Takhar, was fired from Halston.

Apparently, Bonnie had some differences with other head people at the company, but it sounds like she will have no problem finding other work as she’s worked with an impressive bunch – Jimmy Choo, Donna Karan and Earl Jeans.

Enjoy the pictures of Sarah Jessica Parker at the Bambi 2010 Awards (November 11).

Sarah Jessica Parker and James Wilkie: Baseball Buddies

Sarah Jessica Parker and James Wilkie: Baseball Buddies

Making sure to give her eldest child the proper attention he deserves now that the family has added adopted twins,  Sarah Jessica Parker took James Wilkie out for a baseball game in the West Village of New York City on Saturday (October 2).

Hurriedly walking down the street, the mother/son duo chased down a taxi cab as they hopped in to be whisked away to their destination at the local ballpark.

And while she's always sure to make plenty of time for family, this coming Wednesday night (October 7) marks an important date on SJP's schedule.

The "Sex and the City" actress is newly elected to the New York City Ballet board of directors and will be the honorary chairman at an elegant supper ball on the Koch Theater promenade following the New York City Ballet's special one-time-only gala performance to celebrate its inaugural fall season at Lincoln Center.

Sarah Jessica Parker: No Beef with SATC2 Director

Kicking her week off bright and early, Sarah Jessica Parker was spotted leaving her New York City digs on Monday morning (July 12).

The “Sex and the City” bombshell looked ready to take on the day’s agenda as she hurriedly hopped into a Toyota Prius and drove off.

In other news, a tabloid report published by the National Enquirer recently claimed that SJP is blaming director/writer Michael Patrick King for the minimal fan response “Sex and the City 2” received.

A source told the tabloid magazine that Sarah is done working with the director and was quoted as saying, “Don’t look for Michael on future projects – SJP feels he’s lost his hit-making touch.”

Parker’s rep, however, says these claims are “not true.” (Celebrity Gossip)

You TOO Can Wear Carrie Bradshaw's Sex And The City Vivienne Westwood Wedding Dress

Like OHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH my GOD, you guys! After we finish sipping our Cosmos and talking about how we LOOOOVE to bang dudes the way DUDES like to bang chicks, and then we TOOOOOTally flip out shoes and like, go to restaurants we can mysteriously afford even though we have fake jobs, THEN you can go watch me try on fictitious person Carrie Bradshaw's almost-actual wedding dress that she wore in the Sex And The City movie. (Before Big left her at the altar, right? I didn't actually see the movie, but with all the of second-coming-of-Christ-like ballyhoo over it, I managed to pick up on the fact that Big left Carrie standing there. Spoiler!)

If you live in Charlotte, North Carolina and pop into Hayden Olivia and have, say, a Charlotte York bank account, the Vivienne Westwood Gold Label Lily dress can be YOURS, peaches, for the TOTALLY reasonable sum of $15,000! So you too CAN DRESS JUST LIKE CARRIE BRADSHAW (not a real person!) on your wedding day! You don't even have to THINK about what you as your own actual thinking, blinking person might like! Just quickly refer to the LEAST original, MOST cliched idea of a bride EVAR, call your bank and ask for an extension on your line of credit, and SHAMWOW! It's like you're ACTUALLY CARRIE!

Watch this lady try not to shit herself over the honor of carrying the Carrie dress at her bridal salon. (Also, what you can't see is that the lady's like subtly fingerbanging herself in this video because it is just THAT awesome that the shop is carrying the Carrie dress. So awesome that she can't keep her hands out of her pants. I mean seriously, she's beaming like she fucking just cured cancer.)

... Or, save yourself like $9,000, and get it on Net-a-Porter.com.

While I do DESPISE Sex And The City (except for some of the clothes) and its absurd cultish followings and the cliches it inforces -- cliches that, sadly, a lot of people believe in -- I have nothing against Vivienne Westwood, God knows. This dress is stunning. It's just the idea of DRESSING like Carrie Bradshaw on your effing WEDDING day that gives me the simultaneous Hebrew Jeebies and sad face. Come on, ladies. You can do better than this! Like, instead of being CARRIE BRADSHAW on your wedding day, you could... I don't know... BE YOURSELF!? (Yay?) Also, Cosmos are super disgusting and really really out. DO NOT order them. Ever. Don't even make them in the privacy of your own home. Let Cosmos GO. They're done. 'Kay night night!

Asos Mesh Mess

($65.10, Asos.com)
Asos attempts to redo Sarah Jessica Parker's Dior mesh heels for the masses. I think we've seen time and time again that just because SJ does doesn't mean we (or even she) should. And the wretched patent leather? Oy va voy. Just... no.
