Christina Aguilera Files for Divorce

Shortly after publicly acknowledging that she and her husband had parted ways, Christina Aguilera has filed divorce papers to end her marriage with Jordan Bratman.

According to breaking reports, the "Burlesque" actress opted to check the catchall "irreconcilable differences" as the reason behind her separation from her music producer ex-husband.

The divorce comes after five years of marriage, as Aguilera and Bratman were married in November 2005 and share a 2-year-old son, Max Liron Bratman.

In regards to their child, Christina, 29, has asked the court to grant joint physical and legal custody, as she previously told People, "Although Jordan and I are separated, our commitment to our son Max remains as strong as ever." (Hollywood Gossip)
