Monica Cruz: Penelope's "Pirates" Body Double

Lending a sisterly helping hand, Monica Cruz is set to play her pregnant sister Penelope's body double in "Pirates of the Caribbean 4: On Stranger Tides".

Looking very much alike, Monica was brought up as the best option to stand in for scenes in the Rob Marshall directed Disney adventure - as Penelope is expecting her first child with husband Javier Bardem.

Scheduled for general release in May 2011, the film finds "Jack Sparrow [Johnny Depp] and Barbossa embark on a quest to find the elusive fountain of youth, only to discover that Blackbeard and his daughter are after it too."

As for her workload, Monica will be used only for long shots requiring little or no acting - as closeups are reserved for her movie star sister. - (Hollywood Gossip)
